Subject Information
Our curriculum offers a wide range of subjects and, where options are available, as much free choice to suit the preferences of learners.
In Key Stage 2, pupils follow a full programme of study in line with the national curriculum. Pupils who are admitted to the Junior School have demonstrated a musical aptitude through the audition process and consequently study a musically rich curriculum. For further details please follow the link below.
Years 7 to 9 follow a common curriculum within the context and requirement of the National Curriculum. Classes are generally taught in mixed ability teaching groups averaging 30 students, although this varies in some subjects as key stage 3 progresses. In Years 10 and 11 students complete GCSE courses. As a Church of England Academy, Religious Studies is an important part of the curriculum, including GCSE Religious Studies for all students in year 10 and 11.
Information about the curriculum in the Sixth Form and in the Junior School can be found in those areas of the website.
