A Level Results - 2025

The Minster School Celebrates 2025 A Level Results
The Minster School, Southwell, is celebrating another year of exceptional A Level success, with results that reflect the hard work, resilience, and ambition of its students. Early indications suggest that the strength of this year’s outcomes will match the school’s exceptional performance in 2024, when it achieved one of the highest value‑added scores in the county. The average grade achieved this year was a B, underscoring the consistently high academic standards across the cohort.
Head Teacher, Mr Ben Chaloner, praised the efforts behind this year’s results, saying:
“I am incredibly proud of our students for the resilience they have shown in overcoming challenges, the optimism with which they have approached their goals, and the wisdom they have gained through their learning journey. These results are a direct reflection of their dedication and hard work. I am also deeply grateful to our talented and committed staff for inspiring and guiding them, and to our parents and carers for the unwavering support they have provided along the way.”
Amongst the many highlights are outstanding individual performances across a range of subjects, with a significant proportion of students securing the top A* and A grades. Many will now progress to prestigious universities, competitive apprenticeships, or embark on exciting career paths, building on the strong foundations laid during their time at The Minster School.
The results once again reinforce the school’s reputation for academic excellence, high expectations, and a commitment to helping every student achieve their personal best.
